Outpatient Treatment Programme
Believe you can and you’re halfway there
At One Step Clinic, we offer individual outpatient treatment plans to help clients win their personal battle with substance dependency and/or other types of addiction. From experience, we know that no two clients are the same and that a one-size-fits-all approach is unlikely to bring about sustainable, long-term changes in behaviour. Your client-specific treatment programme will be designed by a team of clinicians following an initial assessment of your needs and based on a number of variables, including your present physical and mental health, your history of substance addiction and abuse, your history of previous attempts to quit, work history, any existing support you have, and your family relationships.
The frequency of sessions and intensity of treatment will depend entirely on the needs and circumstance of each individual and will be informed by your own progress through therapy and the expert guidance of an addiction psychologist assigned to you. Your treatment plan involves taking into account your own goals and commitment to recovery, and also considers what risk factors are present that could undermine your attempts to recover from addiction. Working with our highly trained therapists, who take a compassionate and non-judgmental approach at all times, your treatment plan will be adapted to suit your ongoing needs as you progress along your road to recovery. Going forward, the aim is to equip you with a solid foundation of self-supporting strategies that will help minimise the risk of relapsing into old addictive behaviour. Our outpatient treatment plans are effective in treating many types of addictions, including to heroin, cocaine, alcohol, cannabis, benzodiazepine, opioids, nicotine, sex and pornography, gaming, and gambling.
Why choose an outpatient treatement programme?
Many clients choose an outpatient programme because it offers a more flexible alternative to inpatient care. Treatment can be organised around family life or your normal working day and it is also a more affordable option as you can continue to live at home while undergoing treatment.
